Meet Leyla
“I have always had a deep passion for creativity, especially makeup. It was a way for me to express myself by transforming into some of the stunning looks that I adored seeing in movies and music. In 2018, I started my professional career in makeup while working full-time for a marketing agency and honing my skills. The following year, I decided to pursue my artistry full-time while also commencing my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During that same year, I travelled to Sydney to upskill with the incredibly talented Makeup with Jah, and I brought back invaluable knowledge to Aotearoa. As of 2024, I have had the privilege of working on three seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race with Michelle Visage and Ashanti for Friday Jams. Moreover, I completed my Masters of Science in Psychology in 2024.”
